Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Reading this one again is like brining me back to the Christmas I got my first Harry Potter book, the same Christmas that the book got out. I loved it, read it through so quickly and my love for the series started. It was a long time ago, and this is the first time I read the first book again. This time in English (my first read was in Swedish), to see how it was in it's native tongue.
It's charming, it's magical, it's fascinating, and it still evokes the feelings that I wanna be there too, I wanna go to Hogwarts! The building up of the characters, how they befriended each other, learning about the magical world and all it wonders. Lovely.
I "only" gives it a 3 star, 'cause I think that this one isn't the best in the series, but it's a great start to something amazing.
Oh, and isn't Neville so adorable? I got so glad for him in the end. And I the only one who thinks it's so cute how daddy clingy Draco is? I know it is to show how "bad" and arrogant he is, but it's cute (and I love his dad Lucius to so... I like, love all of the characters.. Kinda... Maybe. Gosh, this series makes me such a fangirl!).
